UFC 73

July 03, 2007 | WNST Staff

If you want to see a great UFC pay per view, then I would recommend coming out to Club Paradise on Saturday night to see UFC 73. I will be there along with other members of the WNST staff, and I will promise you that this card will be outstanding.
The main event which is Tito Ortiz vs Rashad Evans will be a great fight, but the under card for this PPV is very solid:
Nate Marquardt vs Anderson Silva (UFC Middleweight title fight)
Alvn Robinson vs Kenny Florian
Hermes Franca vs Sean Sherk   (UFC Lightweight title fight)
Heath Herring vs Antonio Nogueria
Mike Nickels vs Stephan Bonnar
Diego Saraiva vs Jorge Gurgel
Chris Lytle vs Jason Gilliam
At least 5 of these fights will be broadcast on PPV, and usually they add one or two, depending on how quick some of the others are over with.
I am not ready to make predictions yet, still thinking about the match ups of some of these fights; however I do think Tito will win his fight. I also hope that Silva wins, because that would line the stars up for him and Rich Franklin to fight in Cincy for the belt in a couple of months.
ESPN will carry the weigh-ins on Friday afternoon live from Sacramento, or you can watch them on-line on the UFC site.
Again be sure to come out to Club Paradise Saturday night and enjoy the PPV and some ice cold Miller beverages.
