The Maryland Terps are in the Top 10 and are in prime position to make a deep tournament run in March. With that success comes added publicity, as evidenced by ESPN’s College GameDay heading to College Park on Saturday as Tom Izzo’s Michigan State Spartans come to town.

On Thursday from 6pm-9pm at Lee’s Pint & Shell in Canton, the College GameDay bus will be on site for fans to come by and have some drinks, great food, and take a tour of the legendary GameDay bus. State Farm is the sponsor of this event as well as College GameDay, and Mimi Brown is a local State Farm insurance agent. Her office is in Canton at 911 South Lakewood Ave. She was the one of 19,000 agents that was chosen to host this event and to represent State Farm at the Xfinity Center on Saturday. Being one of 19,000 is quite impressive, so rest assured if you have any insurance needs or simply want to shop for a better option, Mimi Brown and her team will take great care of you.

“We really like to get to know our customers and get to know what their hopes and dreams look like,” Brown said. “How can we protect those dreams and how can we help you reach them – dreams such as retirement and sending children to college. Being able to really be that person in the neighborhood that our customers can come and talk to”

Mimi’s office is open until 7pm rather than the typical 5pm, more evidence that her service is a cut above the rest of the industry.

We hope you’ll join Mimi on Thursday night at Lee’s Pint & Shell from 6pm-9pm and celebrate the Terps playing such meaningful basketball so late in the season.
