COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland men’s basketball team welcomes Indiana for a Big Ten battle at XFINITY Center on Tuesday at 9 p.m.

• Justin Jackson and Damonte Dodd each scored 15 points, and Maryland’s freshmen kept their poise in the second half, holding off Michigan for a 77-70 victory last Saturday in Ann Arbor. The Terps made their final five shots from the field to thwart a late Wolverine rally.

• With his 14th double-figure scoring performance of the season at Michigan on Saturday, junior guard Melo Trimble climbed to No. 22 on Maryland’s all-time scoring list with 1,382 points. He needs three points to pass Gene Shue at No. 21 and 16 to match his former teammate Dez Wells and crack the top 20. A total of 19 players have reached the 1,400 point milestone in Terrapin annals.

• Maryland has connected on 50-of-103 (48.5 percent) three-point field goal attempts in its past five games. Led by junior Jared Nickens’ perfect 4-for-4 showing from beyond the arc, the Terps shot a blazing 66.7 percent from three-point land at Michigan.

• Since January 2015, Maryland is 15-1 in games following a loss. The Terps bounced back from their two losses this season against Pittsburgh and Nebraska with a 71-70 victory over Oklahoma State at XFINITY Center on Dec. 3 and last Saturday’s 77-70 win at Michigan. Since joining the Big Ten Conference, Maryland has lost only two consecutive games in conference play, falling to Wisconsin at home on Feb. 13, 2016 and at Minnesota on Feb. 18.

• Maryland trails the all-time series 7-4 against Indiana, but is 3-2 against the Hoosiers in the last five meetings. The Terps topped Indiana 64-52 on April 1, 2002 in Atlanta to win the program’s first national championship. Maryland is 2-2 against the Hoosiers since joining the Big Ten Conference.
