Just Allow Me To Point Out Something…

… I know I have a tendancy to be a bit pessimistic about things, but I’ve heard a lot of lies from people who were defending their alledged wrong doing.

Roger Clemens stated that he never took steroids, hgh, or any other banned substance. That took about one week to put together. That sounds like lawyer speech to me.

While I have no problem with lawyers preparing a speech, I will still give my opinion. Clemens used the phrase, “banned substance.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but many of these items weren’t on the banned substance list during the dates you were accused of taking performance enhancing drugs.

Clemens also went on to say he would publicly address this at the appropriate time. The appropriate time to defend yourself is when you are accused, not when it dies down.

As far as Roger not wanting people to “rush to judgement,” I guess he wants us all to follow his lead as he isn’t rushing to his defense. By the way, when others were accused of using performance enhancing drugs, players, like Curt Schilling, we quick to blast fellow players. I’d love to hear what ole Curt has to say, now.
