Brigade add another one-time Raven to roster

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Arena Football League veterans DB Josh Victorian and FB Rory Nixon have signed with the Baltimore Brigade for their inaugural season presented by MedStar Health.

Victorian started his professional career with the Baltimore Ravens and went on to play for numerous NFL teams including the New England Patriots, Houston Texans and Detroit Lions. He brings two years of AFL experience to the Brigade, and most recently spent the 2016 season with the L.A. KISS.

Considered one of the best fullbacks in the league, Nixon has spent the last three season with the Spokane Shock and most recently the L.A. KISS. Last season with the KISS, he recorded 10 rushing touchdowns. He attended Saint Augustine’s University where he was an All-CIAA center as well as CIAA Offensive Player of the Year.

Rookies DL Kamal Johnson of Temple University and DL Derrell Johnson of East Carolina University round out the new Brigade additions. Kamal signed as a free agent with the Miami Dolphins before spending time with the Washington Redskins and the San Diego Chargers, while Derrell played with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League and spent time with the Arizona Cardinals.
