Maryland football announces two-game series with Virginia

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland football program announced Thursday it has agreed to a two-game series with the University of Virginia with games to be played in 2023 and 2024.

The Terps will host Virginia in the opening game of the series on Sept. 16, 2023, before traveling to take on the Cavaliers the following season on Sept. 14, 2024.

Maryland has played Virginia in football 78 times, the most of any opponent in school history. The Terps are 44-32-2 all-time against the Cavaliers, including wins in their two most recent meetings in 2012 and 2013.
