Ravens safety Earl Thomas was reportedly held at gunpoint by his wife in an April 13 altercation in which she allegedly caught him cheating on her in Austin, Texas.

Shortly after Thomas released an Instagram video late Wednesday night to “get ahead” of a story about an “altercation” with his wife, TMZ reported and an Austin Police Department incident report confirmed Nina Thomas was arrested and charged with burglary of a residence with intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, family violence. The publication detailed an argument that prompted the player to leave their home earlier in the day and Nina later logging into his Snapchat account to find video of him with another woman. She tracked him to a rental home, bringing his pistol as well as two of her friends to confront him.

The TMZ report says Nina then found Earl and his brother in bed with other women, prompting her to point the gun toward his head before he was eventually able to get the weapon away from her.

Austin Police ultimately arrested Nina and her two friends after one was allegedly brandishing a knife during the altercation. A court hearing is scheduled for June 8, according to a Travis County Courts case search.

The seven-time Pro Bowl selection wasn’t arrested in the incident.

“It’s really not anybody’s business,” he said in the video. “It pisses me off that it got out, but it’s the world we live in today. But instead of talking about us, just keep us in your prayers. Stuff like this happens. You try to live the best life you possibly can, but sometimes it doesn’t go as planned. Just pray for us as we go through this stuff.

“We’re back talking. I’m seeing my kids. Just keep us in your prayers.”

A Ravens spokesman issued the following statement Thursday morning:

“We became aware of the situation when we read and saw it on the reports late last night and early this morning.”
