Terps basketball to host open practice at Xfinity Center on Sunday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (Oct. 24, 2019) – The 7th-ranked Maryland men’s basketball team will host an open practice for fans and media Sunday, Oct. 27 on the XFINITY Center main court.

Head coach Mark Turgeon and select student-athletes will be available to media following practice.

Doors are set to open at 1:45. The team will then run through instructional drills and also scrimmage for its fans from approximately 2:00 – 3:00 pm. Coach Turgeon will be mic’d up throughout.

Following practice, the Terps will host a Q&A before signing autographs and taking photos with fans. Giveaways will be available, including this year’s brand new posters.

The Terps are set to open the season Nov. 5 when they host Holy Cross at 7:30 pm.

1:45 pm – Gates open (Use Gates A-E)
2:00 pm -Individual instruction work/Scrimmage
3:00 pm – Q&A session with Coach Turgeon and players
3:15 pm – Autograph session (all fans will receive an autograph card)

All times approximate.

– All parking lots will be available for free parking. Fans/Media are encouraged to use Lots 4B and 9B.

– Admission for fans is free.

– Limited concessions will be available.

– Fans will have the opportunity to be the first to join Maryland in a Select-A-Seat opportunity to pick out seats for the upcoming Terps’ basketball season.
